A to Zwi: Arts, Accessibility, and Education
Neurodiversity-affirming music lessons, tutoring, and other educational services
Gabrielle and Damon are autistic self-advocates, educators, performers, and public speakers. Gabrielle has been tutoring for ten years (K-12 Math and Reading, SAT/PSAT Prep, Beginners' Ukulele, Voice, and Songwriting lessons), and Damon has been tutoring for six years (K-5 Math and Reading, Pre-algebra through Algebra 2, Beginners’ Soccer, Tennis, and Music Production lessons). Their life-long experiences as neurodivergent students have empowered them to help other students with identifying learning challenges and finding creative solutions.
Group workshops include Ukulele, Songwriting for Social Emotional Learning, and Social Skills Theatre Activities. Performances include family-friendly fun and educational shows and sing-alongs for school groups, birthday parties, and more! Gabrielle and Damon have years of experience as event emcees, panel moderators, open mic hosts, and educational presenters. Special Education Advocacy is the newest addition to A to Zwi’s offerings; Gabrielle completed COPAA's Special Education Advocates Training 1.0 program in 2023, had extensive experience with academic accommodations as a student self-advocate from elementary school through college, and has worked with several families over the past year on preparing for 504 and IEP meetings.
